A Harvest of Friends – Mini-Decorating for Fall

A Harvest of Friends – Mini-Decorating for Fall

The pumpkin patches are picking. The gourds are plentiful. And the warm colors of autumn are everywhere. While sipping those spice lattes and enjoying your new fall wardrobe, skip the home-goods isle and opt for creating your own striking seasonal centerpiece with character and charm.

Fairy gardens aren’t just for spring and summer, they make whimsical accent pieces that help you celebrate any season.

Turn a Pumpkin into a Fairy House

You can dig out those guts and carve out a home for magical fall friends. Cut out windows that peak inside to see woodland creatures dressed in their autumn attire. A well-placed sign on your pumpkin welcomes all to the harvest, and add warm colored succulents and pretty botanicals to attract the eye.

Gourd-ous Eye-Candy

Use a fall fairy themed tea-cup planter with birch and bark to hold your favorite gourds. Poke some acorn picks into the mix for deep color and even more autumn appeal.

Table Talk

Got side tables, accent tables, and end tables? Then you have the trappings of a perfect seasonal scene. Sometimes all it takes is empty space to create a big impact when decorating for the season. Think of it as a blank canvas…simply add a farmers market stand, a raccon playing in fallen leaves, a sweet tot sleeping on a pumpkin, a fall cornucopia, or decorative scarecrows without all the haybale mess to start a small homage to the brisk weather and welcome a new season.

Thankful for the Little Things in Life

Give thanks with turkey figurines. Make a wish with loved ones. Light up the season with an illuminated pumpkin house party. And enjoy this time with friendsFall fairies and miniature decor makes this a reality.

From hay bales to harvesting, decorating to dozing off, we make it easy to bring fall indoors and enjoy the spirit of the season. Think big, go small and turn your home into a picturesque slice of autumn life with a little help from fairy figurines and accessories.

What good fortune to find this blog. I would like to make a fairy garden for my grandchildren in their back yard. Looking forward to learning more.

I lost all but one of my Fairy gardens in Hurricane Harvey here in Rockport, TX and am so looking forward to the time that I can start making new and better gardens.

When I opened up the “Pumpkin” Fairy house I had to take pictures of it “set up” before I sent it to my twin granddaughters!!!!!! I am so very excited to hear how they liked it. (I know they will) I had taken a picture of my fairey house & village set up!! This is such a good hobby for me ( I’m 75) and I hope it will become a hobby for my granddaughters!!!!

I just love the whimsical figurines(wish they were among the living(“rationale” living…that is) you have created. You have a wonderful collection of beings I believed in when I was very young. Thank you!!!
